Expanding Access to Arts Education Through Free Digital Programming

CLI Studios was built on a mission to make arts education accessible to people around the world. During the 2020 Dance Experience, that mission took on new meaning as dancers everywhere searched for ways to stay connected, inspired, and moving from home.

 

We launched a series of free weekly classes that anyone could join by registering for a #keepdancing account. The goal was simple. Remove barriers to entry and invite the global dance community into an experience that felt welcoming and supportive at a time when connection mattered most.

 

Once registered, participants received weekly emails designed to nurture their relationship with CLI Studios and introduce them to the value of deeper learning through our annual membership. The program balanced generosity with sustainability, offering meaningful access while creating a thoughtful path toward long-term engagement.

 

What began as a free education initiative became a powerful way to grow the community, build trust, and turn a moment of crisis into an opportunity for learning and connection across borders.
